Prof. JaeEun Jang is an electrical and material engineer specialized in electrical devices. From 2007 to 2011, he was the Principal Senior Researcher at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT). On January 2011, he joined the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at DGIST(Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology) in South Korea .

He was Chair Professor of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering of DGIST from 2018 to 2019. Since 2019, he serves as the Associate Vice President for Strategic Planning of DGIST.
